Jan Amonette - Inventory Controller

Jan keeps Pro-Mark running like a well-oiled machine. A Pro-Marker since 1983, she’s got more helpful information tucked away in her brain then all of our computers combined. Jan’s seen it all around here, and can tell you some stories about it too! In her free time, Jan enjoys spending time at home with her husband, children, grandchildren and dog, Lacy.

Steve Beck - General Manager

A Pro-Marker since 1996, Steve oversees the daily operations of the company. His entrance into music was the violin, but he quickly saw the light and switched to percussion at the age of 11. Steve received a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Arts in Music and served as the Executive Director of the Percussive Arts Society for 8 years. A devoted father and husband, Steve and his family are very active in the music ministry at their church, where Steve plays the drums!

Herb Brochstein - Pro-Mark Founder

Herb’s the guy that started it all. He “discovered” the magic of Japanese Oak and brought the magic here in 1957. Today, Pro-Mark is still the only stick manufacturer to offer those magic sticks…in 27 models.

Maury Brochstein - President

Maury is our fearless leader. He acquired the company from his father in 1997. He’s carrying on the drumming lineage from his father to his son. When Maury’s not busy being the President of Pro-Mark, you can find him training for marathons, doing just about anything outdoors, or supporting Susan, his wife, with her charity work!

Pat Brown - Director of Sales Worldwide

He’s the “Dr. Evil” of Pro-Mark and his goal is world domination…in drumsticks, of course! Pat says he plays drums for fun and bass for money.

Sarah Carlson - Accounting/HR

Sarah makes sure the invoices go out on time. More importantly, she makes sure the checks come in on time.

Don Click - Director of Marketing/Product Manager

Don is a native of Brentwood, TN. He studied finance at the University of North Texas where he was part of the world-famous UNT drumline. His marching background includes membership with Bridgemen, Suncoast Sound, and The Blue Devils. He is the founder of the six-time WGI World Champion Music City Mystique. Don currently resides in Katy, TX with his wife and two kids. He enjoys teaching drumlines on the side, making annual trips to Disney World, and anything related to laying on the beach!

Randy Duff - Shipping/Warehouse Manager

Randy is from Pasadena, Texas and works in shipping sending out orders to all of our big retailers (that’s mainly what you do, right?). In his spare time, Randy enjoys playing drum set all around Houston for his band JJDynomite. Randy always gigs in high style with a very fly stuffed “Animal” (yes, the drummer from the Jim Henson Muppets Show) chained to the front of his kit’s rack.

Cathy Gallamore - Purchasing Manager

Cathy keeps us supplied with all the stuff we need to keep the doors open! She is a “transplant” from Chicago. So, she wasn’t born in Texas, but she got here as quick as she could.

Charlotte Lusk - Receptionist

Charlotte joined the Pro-Mark family in July of 2008. A native Houstonian, she has been married for 30 years and two wonderful sons to show for it! When she’s not busy greeting those that call Pro-Mark, Charlotte enjoys listening to all kinds of music and playing with her Pekingese named Cody.

Nhon Nguyen - Factory Supervisor

Nhon keeps our factory running smoothly. A native of Vietnam, Nhon has been with Pro-Mark since 1981. Nhon’s pride and joy are his grandbabies and he’ll show you pictures, you don’t even have to ask!

Mark Petrocelli - Domestic Retail Sales

Mark handles all of our retail store customers. He is the one to call if you are looking for our products at a store near you. Mark also assisted in the development of the drum gloves, cymbal bags and the 50th Anniversary snare drums and helped bring Todd Sucherman and Jason Bonham to the Pro-Mark family. Mark played drums for a living during the late 80’s and early 90’s hair band days. His greatest drumming moment was nailing the drum solo at the end of Led Zeppelin’s Rock-n-Roll, in front of Robert Plant himself!! It happened while jamming with Dee Snider from Twisted Sister at a wedding. On his off time Mark enjoys boating with his wife Tracy and their three kids. He also likes going to concerts, fishing and collecting KISS memorabilia!

Kevin Radomski - Director of Artist Relations

Kevin oversees all activities of Pro-Mark’s impressive roster of Artist Endorsers. Kevin hails from Louisiana and came to Pro-Mark in 1998. He is a graduate of McNeese State University and is an active player throughout Houston with multiple bands including his own rock band, House of Moist.

Mike Reece - Production Engineer

Mike designs our processes and builds custom machinery to keep us manufacturing the world’s finest sticks! If he can’t build it, we don’t need it! Mike has been with Pro-Mark since 1990 and has been designing sticks for drummers for nearly 30 years. He can be found with his wife Laura and two children when not at the office. A native New Yorker, Mike also enjoys playing and writing music and has a CD titled “Move On”. He plays guitar, percussion and bass and plays with Cattle Prod Band over the East Texas region as well as on various Praise teams.

Staci Stokes - Director of Education

Staci, a Pro-Marker since 1998, is involved with everything Educational at Pro-Mark. A certified teacher, Staci also has a Master’s in Percussion Performance and a Bachelor of Musical Arts and Business. She has marched and taught drum corps for over 10 years and can be found teaching, consulting and sometimes sleeping, in her free time.

Kelly Strait - Web Content/Education

Kelly writes and enters content for the website and also helps Staci with educational duties in the office and out on the road. A percussionist and music education graduate from the University of North Texas, Kelly enjoys listening to a variety of music and keeps busy in her spare time teaching percussionists all around the city of Houston. She has had the pleasure of marching 4 years of drum corps and really enjoys performing with world music ensembles like steel bands and gamelan orchestras.

Jenifer Tooke - Customer/Artist Services

Jenifer has been with Pro-Mark since 1998. She takes care of all of all customer service issues. Her self proclaimed musical ability is twirling sticks. We think she does it just to spite the drummers in the building!

Bruce Salyers - Mallet Manager

Bruce is a former percussion instructor and band director with an active performing background including stints with the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra, the Pine Bluff Orchestra, and Northeast Arkansas Symphony Orchestra. He has also performed with the United States Air Force Band and has presented clinics at many PAS Days of Percussion. Bruce is also a published author with titles being published by both Honey Rock Publishing and Big Island Music.
