Hickory shaft extra hard general mallet. Chamois over large maple core with weighted insert. Same shaft and core as the #4 general felt with an extra hard chamois covering. As a single mallet, recommended for any loud passages that require a hard, bright and clear sound. Recommended to be used in pairs for slower rhythmic passages that require a very hard stick that gives you clarity and extra weight.
